"As someone of colour, I was compelled to talk to Eve personally to thank her for everything she is doing for my generation. Being a woman of colour, she has endured years of inequality in both the industry and society. Rather than be discouraged, she stood up to shape the path for not only women but coloured women in my generation. Her efforts have inspired me to do a phd in Music Technology in the future so I can return to education, teach young men and inspire the next generation of female engineers the way Eve has inspired me"
